you're just a young girl, but grief doesn't care. it takes over your life with little warning ( just the accompaniment of screeching tires ). it's a selfish friend. it won't settle for second best. so, it teams up with death until it's all you have left.

Remorse? Does she have any remorse? No. Not anymore. That part of her that had been drowning in her grief was silenced for good, and she finally felt FREE!  Why would she want to go back to those constraints? The burden that had sunk her shoulders is gone. For so long, she had been suck in winter’s cool grasp as depression ruled her mind. Now Elena could finally sleep without the ghosts of her dead loved ones haunting her. She didn’t miss them, she didn’t feel anything. She  couldn’t recall the last time she felt so carefree. This feeling of contentment flows through her and it reminds her of the summer, and the way the warmth of the sun’s rays feel on her skin. It was intoxicating.
