What she does know it’s dangerous to be sitting out here all alone, but the brunette isn’t worried, despite knowing that there are creatures lurking the streets of what was once a peaceful, small town. Her mind is ever busy, racing with thoughts as chocolate orbs peer up at the stars. This is suppose to be the time when a person is to unwind for the night, and settle down to drift off to dreamland. Sleep is the last thing on the girl’s mind when her dreams are typically nightmares.
Her gaze returns to the earth when she hears such sweet words being uttered. There is no mistaking that voice, and the elegance of the tone that surely would make Shakespeare roll over in his grave. Elijah’s appearance doesn’t shock her, because she’s grown accustom to his visits as they have a deal together. Slim fingers gently pat through the open air down on the empty section of the swing. His words still linger in her mind, holding on to such a high compliment. One would typically be thrilled to be compared to that of an angel, but Elena is quick to remind herself that even Lucifer was once an angel. She doesn’t deserve such a pedestal. She is no angel, nor a saint. The girl can barely save herself from all the grief she’s drowning in on the inside. Even so, the girl smiles, almost sickeningly sweet, at the implication. It’s a rare sight to see Elijah Mikaelson being light-hearted, and it brings a sense of giddiness to her as well.

and maybe it was selfish of her to think he’d never love anyone
else. that he’d never be intimate with anyone else, and here this
bubblegum popping bimbo was proving her wrong and making
a move on her man. the brunette didn’t care that they broke up
and she was dating tyler now. it didn’t matter that it was ok for
him to move on, because she didn’t want him to move on. if he
moved on then that meant what they had was merely a fleeting

This has Elena written all over it tbh because she’s definitely the sillier of the two. She loves sneaking up on him and surprising him by doing this, and most of the time she can’t stop giggling when she does it, which really gives it away. It makes him smile though.

They both might do this, but Elena probably does it more because she’s a brat and wants him to warm her hands or feet up. She can be really annoying about this too and put her cold feet on him when he’s trying to get warm under the covers.

Laughs, Kai, and I say this because he watches them to make fun of the people because they’re all idiots, and he’s not at all embarrassed about it. He probably even mutters about how if he’d kill them if he ever met these people. Elena will join him, but only if she brings pork rinds for him to munch on and maybe throw at the tv.
